Clifftop glass-bottomed infinity pool at Oneeighty beach club: Uluwatu, Bali

I’m obsessed with beach clubs and Bali is known as one of the best places in the world to find beautiful, chilled out beach clubs with amazing food, cocktails and views – the ultimate recipe for paradise.

Naturally, I wanted to fit as many beach clubs as possible into my most recent trip to Bali and there was one in particular that I’d been eyeing up on Instagram for some time – Oneeighty.

Oneeighty is located in the luxurious villa resort, The Edge, and it is described as a ‘celebration of sophisticated beach culture set 500ft above the Indian Ocean’.

It’s also a beach club with a difference as there isn’t actually any access to the beach, although there is some breathtaking views of the ocean, which more than make up for it.

We booked in advance (which I would highly recommend doing!) and reserved a seat in the VIP deck which has an upfront cost of 600,000 Indonesian Rupiah (the equivalent of just over £30). Although, 550,000 of that is redeemable on food and drinks, so you’re essentially only paying around £5 for the beautiful location and hospitality.

The view from the deck is absolutely outstanding and the staff could not have been more accommodating. On arrival, they bring you a complimentary fruity granita and even give you a personal little bottle of cooling spray for optimum pampered princess vibes.

Aside from the stunning VIP deck, there’s plenty of other gorgeous seating options ranging from comfy day beds, to relaxed beanbags.

The star of the show, though, is of course the iconic infinity pool that Instagram dreams are made of.

With its glass bottomed section hanging right over the edge of the 500ft cliff, it’s genuinely breathtaking (read: sightly terrifying) and completely unique to this magical little place.

It’s the perfect place to cool off in-between sunbathing and gorging on all of the delicious food and drink.

And as for the food and drink – OH MY – I had the best tuna sashimi I’ve ever had here!

Every single thing we ate and drank was absolutely delicious and, especially with the happy hour deals they offer, very well priced compared to European standards!

I absolutely adored Oneeighty and it certainly makes up for the lack of a beach with its authenticity and picture-perfect views.

If only I could visit a beach club every day…
